Just a back up. I'm pretty happy with the kioti. Ive put 250hrs on it on 1.5 yrs and she's never sputtered. Expected her lift capacity would be better but I haven't used a similar size machine in any other color so cant really compare to anything.

Want something I am less concerned about beating on. Trying to keep the yote nice-ish

I also had to cut the pigtail off the old pump as the oe kawasaki pump had a different clip 🙄

Also, in my diagnosis I realized it's a 25hp, not a 27 lol. 🤷

I think it was the pump. Not sure why it would die when hot if it was the filter. The filter was also full when I took it off.

Fuel pressure gage was going to cost as much as a new pump and filter so I just went ahead and replaced the pump and filter. Viola. Problem solved. Could instantly tell I had power back. And ran for 45min with out dying.

I have ruled out coils and vapor lock. Next up will be to test the fuel pump I guess.

Seems to run fine for about 30min. Then once it gets hot it starts to act up. Not sure I'm getting my laser temp directly on main bearing but it's around 200f.

MOD's please move if not the right forum I have a PATS quick hitch. For some reason the hitch pins keep coming unclasped and I lose the pin, and the washer meant to protect the pin. Not sure why. IIFC, this has only happened when running my king cutter 5' tiller. This has happened 2 or 3x now...

Ended up just having my maintenance guy at work weld it up, with a real weld lol.

Yup, that's how I found out too. Went to pick the disc up and only one side lifted. Binding everthing up. I'm just going to have this one welded, more better. What was your fix?

I'll likely just remove and put a stronger weld on it. There wasn't much of a weld there to begin with

It was a an actual cable. With connections made into it. Likely on the tractor when the ol man bought it. Way to fancy of an item for him to use lol. I expected to find jb weld an a few empty beast light cans cobbled together.

I went with 12v LED headlights and a step up converter to run them. Was cheaper than any 6v options I saw out there.

I debated just going 6v. But as the tractor doesn't get used much I didn't want to spend the coin on 6v led's. I got the converter and 2 LED headlights for like $50

I disconnected it from the push button and tried to ground it out on the frame somewhere to get it to crank. Didnt have any luck. Ground from the battery to started is relatively new.
