    Insulated panels

1/4 × 6 TimberLOK screws with a fender washer under the head may be a good choice as well. I would either caulk on the surface, or white tape used for the roll insulation on a steel frame building. Caulk in the grooves may make disassembly difficult.

Those panels are pade to be the exterior wall of a steel frame industrial building. We have them on the walls of our plant. They could be attached to the girts on a pole barn or engineered steel building. Ripping them to 16" to fit your walls will be tough. If you try it, be sure to wear a...

    Steering linkage (bushing?)

You can apply new ball joints to your bar. But you will first need to detetmine the stud taper and come up with a way to drill and tap the link. You may want to weld on an appropriate threaded sleeve instead of tapping. Don't know what equipment or skills you have at your disposal.
  54. J

    Steering linkage (bushing?)

If the ball stud is loose in the rod end, you will need to replace the entire drag link. The rod ends appear to be welded onto the link bar. It is possible to weld on new ends, but you would first need to find suitable tie rod ends and set the length correctly, as there is no adjustment.

Bent bucket cyl on model 48 backhoe

Dan, shims won't help for shear. The gap betweem the solid metal of the mount and the cyl cross tube or rod cross tube is what determines bending vs shear.. Bent bucket cyl on model 48 backhoe

Great info on the bushings. They should work just fine. How does the width of the tube on the cylinder base compare to the gap between the the mounting plates on the dipper? The clearance should be on the order of 1mm in order to keep the pin in shear and minimize bending moment.
