The fitting itself is not the problem, it seems there is a bushing in the eye that has spun and no longer allows grease into the joint. I tried drilling one out with a nitro bit after removing the pin to no avail. Has anyone ever dealt with this? This is on a 1998 JD 310e backhoe

I’m wondering if I filled up my 100 gallon tank with bad diesel. This was filled up 7 months ago and the backhoe fuel filter/separator just clogged up with like brown gunk. I changed it and it worked fine. How do I check the fuel in the transfer tank? Any additives that I should add?

1998 John Deere 310e. Someone welded this valve in the past and it’s leaking on the bottom. I wonder if it can be welded again? It costs like $3k I’m sure.

It's leaking at the seal where the drive shaft goes into the differential. I see how to take the shaft out (pinned couplers) that's easy. but it surely appears that the whole axle has to come off to get to the seal. The repair manual is clear as mud. Thanks for any help.
