Not sure about your tractor. But, on most 4WD's, you only have back brakes when you are in 2WD. Going downhill with a load in 2 WD can get dangerous. Use 4WD only when you need it.

My tractor battery has a parasitic drain that I can't find, so small it does not spark. If I get a battery maintainer and de-sulfator, will the de-sulfator work with the drain? I'll get one big enough to overcome the parasitic drain. Bill

My M7030 has idiot lights for oil pressure indicator. It doesn't work. I have found the end of the wire and the orifice where it is attached to the tractor. I am presuming it is just a pressure switch. Is there a way i can connect a regular oil pressure gauge to that orifice?

It is a after market FEL and I do have to bungee the handle back for the FEL to work, and it works properly. With the loader remote centered, everything else works. It sounds as if there is nothing wrong with my unit.

I have a Kubota 7030 with FEL. The loader works off one set of remotes, so when using it the three point and the other remotes won't work. Is that normal? In other words there is no way to use the loader and a back blade at the same time.

Zebrafive, Thank you! You can jump the solenoid and it turns but doesn't engage the motor. With the key ignition switch it does nothing, no click or anything. If this doesn't work, it looks like a new starter.

Been clearing property lines and they are overgrown with multiflower rose and common buckthorn. I find on the big stuff, over 1.5 inch, it cuts easier if I raise the mower and back onto it and lower the mower.

The instructions on our 8ft Land Pride says the front should be 1 -2 inches lower than back, so you don't cut the material twice. We run everything, except the finish mower, that way.

I am about to buy a 7030 and the only fear I have is the clutch. How much can I expect to pay to have the clutch replaced? It has a FEL and here is no shuttle, so I am presuming it has been shifted alot in 4000 hours.

Kubota is a M7030, 70HP. The Mahindra is 1/3 more money. Both have FEL's and the Mahindra has a Hyd. outlet in the front. Hyd output is 11 gpm, is that enough to run a skid steer brush cutter?
