    Oil coming out of dipstick.

That's what I'm thinking. I've temporarily drilled a small hole in the fill tube cap to allow the air to escape, till I find out where the air is coming from. I'm using the tractor sparingly for now.

    Oil coming out of dipstick.

No water in there. There's a cab with windows/doors, it's enclosed. I've drained the oil and there's no water in there.

    Oil coming out of dipstick.

I drained some oil and there's nothing other than oil in there. When I unscrew the oil filler cap, there is a lot of air coming out of there. So definitely air getting sucked in. I have to figure out how the air gets in there and address the issue.

It is coming out of the transmission/drive/hydraulic dipstick. And it's not overfilled.

    Oil coming out of dipstick.

I have an issue with my '12 Mccormick tractor. I have oil coming out of the dipstick even when the tractor has been parked for a long time. There is also foaming coming out at times when the tractor is in use. Oil level was fine.

    McCormick x10.40 issues

Sorry for the late reply, I honestly have not gotten on this forum for a while, been pretty busy. I will try swapping for the bucket and see what happens. But now there is another problem, that needs to be addressed as well. I have oil coming out of the dipstick even when the tractor has been...

    McCormick x10.40 issues

So what is a happening is that all of a sudden this started, the hoses are not mixed up. (Bought the tractor new 10 years ago, never switched the hoses). The valve has a dumping action and a Regen action, so 2 stages, push part way the bucket slowly dumps and push it all the way (Regen) the...

    McCormick hydraulics issue

Hello. The hoses are not messed up, I know that for sure. It curls down with the lever, I can hear the pump when I push the lever sideways. It's almost as if something is blocking the fluid.

Ok great. Thank you. Will check the bucket spool. With the linkage, would it be just an adjustment?

    McCormick hydraulics issue

Hi. I have issues with my hydraulics. The bucket dump is going down slowly and when I push the joystick all the way (it has a two stage valve: slow and fast), then the bucket rollbacks. It just started doing this. No other functions are affected. I had the cylinders resealed, did not fix the...

    McCormick X10.40 Radiator change

Hello, Any one ever changed a radiator on a McCormick X 10.40. I looked for a service manual online, can not find one. Looked on Youtube, nothing really. I think it's broken or cracked on the bottom where the hose connects. Thanks, Denis

    Mcormick starting issues

I have a diesel 40 HP McCormick. I changed the fuel filter about 2 weeks ago, and air bled the system, because there was water in the fuel. Tractor has been running well since. This morning I went to start, and it would only stay running with the key in the start position, as soon as I...

    Jinma 284 Won't start

Hello, need help. I parked my Jinma, two, three weeks ago and went to start it today and it won't start. I had left the kill switch pulled out, I pushed it back in, I plugged it for at least 1/2 hour, the engine was warm enough to start it. It cranks, no start, there's fuel in it, checked all...

    restoring fields

Hi everyone, thanks all for responding to my earlier thread. I found someone to hay my fields this year, so that saves me from having to buy all the equipment. Now I have to restore my fields, because they were let go. My question is what alternative do I have to spraying round up? Are there...
