    I made some pressure treated legs that I can bolt on and off. That really helps! Some have bolted to a pallet as well. If you can bolt down on concrete, works much better. Remember to use a bead lube, not just soda and water. The bead lube helps in getting the bead to seat.

    I've got a wire in all 7 locations on mine. Hopefully, that'll keep them locked in place, but I will check them when I do my annual on it. Good catch and sure that would cause that issue. Never thought how nice it is to have reverse lights on the car trailer!

    I'd get the gallon. You'll find plenty of other items that need a coat. It gives a purplish-black finish without a top coating. (Which isn't needed) I coated the frame of my dually and after I did it a few years back, looked like a new frame! Cleans up easily and environmentally friendly!

    I use dog collars from the "dollar" store to keep them wrapped for storage. Could also get small cat/dog collars to keep tails secure. Haven't tried it yet, but next time I'm near a store, I will pick a couple up and try! Another idea would be to use a sock that has worn through at hole or toe.

    I'd say yes. I was given 50 lbs of stainless 3 1/2" metal drywall stud screw. I used them on my deck boards! Before I used them in that way, I screwed a couple 2 x 4 pieces together. They held tight! Been through 2 seasons now, no issues!

    Cement board is providing the fire and heat protection from the welding. The drywall will act as a fire buffer if you house caught fire. Have you tried to burn drywall? The paper goes up, but the drywall just glows. We used to build townhouses that had two 1" drywall layers between units!

    Try some Star-Tron fuel treatment. It's been used in the RV/Marine areas for many years. You might also want to use the Goldern Rod cartridge filter on your tank. It has a water drain on the housing. Have that on a 50 gal diesel tank.
