I would compare to the US General boxes at HF before you buy. I really like the U.S. General boxes.

Nice toolbox but kind of small, I bought a bigger toolbox a couple years ago thinking it was bigger than I needed but now I wish I would have bought a bigger one.

The US General boxes at Harbor Freight are nice boxes. I have two fo them that I really like. They had a large sale on them yesterday as well.

TO my surprise, Craftsman tool boxes are still made in America. Missouri I think.

I've got a US General 1drawer tool cart and I agree that they make a decent tool box. I'll snoop around to see what they have.

I also have a Craftsman top chest I bought in 1974. It is a higher quality than the Craftsman bottom cabinet I bought in 1990.

I'd like to have a top & bottom with the quality of the 50 yr. old chest but realistically, I most likely will only need it to last less than 20 years.

So with that in mind, the number of choices is ginormous.

Looks comparable to the US General series 3 42" boxes, but the HF seems heavier, so thicker metal & no slide out wood table.
