I made wings for my rear push snowblower. They worked great and were robust. I had no issues with feeding or going through thick or crusted snow. New Tractor Sales Are Declining

We're probably pretty close to being on the same page. I'm talking about the dual income suburbanites who have high paying jobs and maybe recently purchased some property. The siren song of owning a CUT can be pretty strong. much the same as ATVs and UTVs. I'm still waiting to see bargain...

    New Tractor Sales Are Declining

I don't disagree about the working class, but there's plenty of weekend warriors who would still like a CUT, and will be tempted if the price drops a bit.

    New Tractor Sales Are Declining

I think there is still a lot of latent demand for CUTs. The price on new or used wouldn't have to drop much for demand to pick up again. Financing cost is another matter.

    Inverted Snow Blower

An inverted wouldn't be right for a small CUT, or long deep drifts. The banks that a plow leaves at the end of a driveway can easily be handled by your loader, and then you're back to blowing.

Your build is amazing. I feel that you are now at the stage that is like the final ascent of Mt. Everest. You can see that magnificent final destination, but the only way to get there is to keep taking one agonizing step after another. The journey makes it worth it.

    Inverted Snow Blower

I agree. Unless you regularly get 4' snowdrifts or you do not have tractor enough to drive through some snow, an inverted is a great snow clearing option. I've had a conventional 3pt blower and an inverted. The inverted has cut my snowblowing time in half. Yes, I still look back occasionally...

    Change tire PT1460

PB blaster, a mallet and a pry bar and was able to get the rim off. Local tire guy seated the bead and aired it up for 10 bucks. Back in action within an hour. What's the fun in that?

    Change tire PT1460

My son's camper sat with a flat tire over a winter. The 12" tire was deformed a bit, and I couldn't get it to seat. I did put a generous bead of grease on the rim - both to lubricate it and to seal it, and it did the trick. Good thing, because ether was next.

Between labor shortages and supply chain issues, we've gone from just in time, to I hope I can get one. It will get better in time, but it takes a bit of time to smooth out. Hang in there.

    Jobs Market isChanging

I knew a maintenance tech that worked at a place whose operating methodology was "Whatever it is, run it wide open until it quits.". Those old DOS machines are fully depreciated, so they get used to the bitter end. When the end comes, they get replaced by newer and better technology. The circle...

Well if 100 Boomers turn 65 and leave the labor force, and there are only 75 Gen Z's turning 18 entering the labor force, you have a net loss of available workers. The graphs don't show the total size of each generation. It shows the the trend lines for 18 year olds and 65 year olds. I agree...

More Boomers are aging out of the workforce than there are Gen Zs coming in to replace them. That is a primary driver of the labor shortage.
