I had a 2006 ( I believe ) it had an issue with the plugs, not broken but extremely hard to remove, had to take it to a dealership. First private shop could not do it!

Pictures below show which bolts need to be removed to access drive belts. PTO shaft can stays on the chipper but has to be removed from the tractor and then separated so that collar can be slid down to access two bolts inside the ring by the PTO shaft. P

Hi All, We have an Echo Bear Cat chipper, model 73454 PTO. One of the belts came off the pulley. I can’t seem to find any info on the proper way to disassemble to get to the inside of the pulley area It’s a 2005. I’ve searched YouTube with no luck. I have the manual but no instructions there...

As far as the rod goes. Once everything is secured and brakes are on. I would use my trusty saws all with a new blade, can you reach it from drivers seat that should keep you out of harm’s way? As far as bleed off goes mine bleed’s off somewhat over night, but then mine is a 2005!

I like that idea. I’m thinking that if you heat up the lever rod and do the 45 bend first you might not need the crane!
