Editing my profile

I can't figure out how to edit my profile. I tried the control panel, but I'm either looking in the wrong place or I'm not getting things to work.

At the bottom of the Control Panel, there should be a Main Configuration page. The first item under that should be the link to the main editing page for your profile.

I tried clicking on everything on everything under the Main Configuration page (Personal information, Display preferences and even tried Subscribe/Unsubscribe out of curiosity) but nothing happened. The mouse symbol didn't change like it normally does when you click on something thats supposed to do something (do I sound like a real computer whiz?) /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
Am I missing something?
I sure do appreciate your help!!

Click on your username in the top right corner of the screen. Then click account details.
