Ok, i pulled the muffler and the piston looks good (pics enclosed)
I ran her until she cut out, tried starting her again & she started but died pretty quickly. As in the vent tube/vent video, i opened the gas cap, closed, and she started up fine and ran well like in the beginning. So, it could be a clogged vent tube. I'll pull it and see what i find, but just want to make sure nothing is on the other end??
Maybe a new thread, but another issue. When running her, no oil is being didchsrged onto the chain/bar. It is just dripping straight to the ground. I cleaned the cover and the body of the chain saw, fired her up and same.
Let me know if this should be another thread? Thank you very much !!

dThe vent tube is not attached to anything but the fuel tank. It is just a piece if tube that has a couple of set screws inside of it. You can just grab it with needle nose pliers and pull it off. You can try to run the saw with the vent off to see if that is your problem. But I would still pull the muffler and inspect the piston. Just be careful and use some penetrant on the studs before you loosen the nuts.
