Nope. I always empty it and run until the carb is dry.

I think maybe the float is stuck.

No snow predicted for Idaho..again. Only 14” total so far, maybe an inch or 2 remaining. Normal used to be 110” for season.

Today I was giving a final check of some houses I watch. Last house, I checked the generator. RED LIGHT! Something to do with the emergency shutdown switch. Service guy is here now.

Or, take a page from olde South Park - Blame it on Canada ! (Jetstream is swinging way low recently).

You have to live rural, and have some sense, to realize that snow is like money in the bank... zero is not a good option. Hopefully you can catch up a bit, before end-season.

I swapped generators in the power house yesterday installed the L70 Yanmar with 5kw generator.
Made up a 30’ extension to connect generator to power inlet.
Test run later today

Not sure exactly. The electrician that put it in bypassed the emergency shutdown switch. There was an issue previously with the emergency switch. Tech wasn’t 100% sure what the cause was. He got it back online and tested it. Said it was good to go.

Oh boy, the emergency shutdown switch is a 3 second repair. Reset switch, set generator to off, press enter.

If he bypassed the switch, the jumper probably fell out.

So this is a solution for a problem that doesn't exist, at least for what....99.5% of us? You're towing around another 2,000lbs so you can tow your trailer...errr sorry...portable generator with you along with it's required fuel to run it. Here's a novel thought...get rid of the extra transfer medium and put the fuel directly into the towing vehicle.
