Changed gears real quick and went to HD and got some 4x4's and built a new mailbox post to put the new mailbox on. The old post was a bear to get out of the frozen ground, and i didn't realize there was concrete on it.

I went at that mailbox post to hard not knowing it was concreted into the ground and pushed hte limits a bit. Now my muscles in my legs, abs, and shoulders hurt to move, so I took a day of rest and just cleaned up the misc framing of the battery room. The concrete anchors were something else, and I think i'm going to use construction adhesive instead this time.

Tomorrow I'll put the header and footers of the wall in and get measurements, then cut the drywall and put it in, before i can actually frame it, otherwise the wires will prevent me from getting drywall in.

I'm going to have to have some gaps in the drywall for the wires to pass through, and i can live with that. The biggest challenge will be having them look decent.

Don't you have a loader that could have lifted out the mailbox - or is that another kettle of fish?

Alternatively, you could have done the engine swap on your Bobcat and used that 😛

I could have used the loader, i didn't think it was going to be a big job. I didn't realize there was a concrete block on the end of it. By the time I got to it, it was dark and I could just barely see what I was doing.

Who would have thought I'd use the tire machine again so soon. Found the kubota tire so flat the tire came off the wheel.

Could you run the wires through the ceiling? Or will that add too much length?

My son's camper trailer sat for a long time on a flat tire. I couldn't get it to seat, so I put some grease along the edge of the rim. That did the trick.

And then, there's always ether....

Several hundred dollars of wire. I'd like to avoid it if possible. 6 inverters need equal wire lengths, but are not equal distant from the bus bar.

I opted for no ether this time. I tried the ratchet strap, but it didn't work. If jumping on it didn't work I was going to get the assembly lube.

Someone else recommended this stuff.
