Snow clearing with PT425

Thanks for posting the fun videos.

For non-PT tractor owners, that second video really demonstrates the easy turning/maneuverability of PTs.

All the best,

Peter

Nice! Off topic, but does your camera follow movement? What brand if you don't mind?

Thanks, it can really maneuver in tight places. I'm still getting the hang of it. Coming in close too a vehicle can get a little unnerving.

And then you get used to the tight maneuvering abilities, and then you get really close to things. I do really like how well the wheels track each other going by objects, but I still look to make sure thatI'm not running a wheel into something.

All the best, Peter

Some guys put PVC pipe over their bucket edges to protect their asphalt. Think some others have bolted some kind of plastic on theirs similar to what is used on plastic cutting boards.

I’ve seen that but I question how long pvc pipe would hold up. I would opt for steel sch 40 pipe. I like the steel edge since the plow blade has a rubber blade. It’s a good mix.

Yes, they have a great turning radius. It takes a little bit to get used to the articulation, but 2 point turns are pretty easy on a narrow drive.

One of the first things I did with my PT425 and my toothed rock bucket is to add an air hose pass through port in the side of my garage. ;)
