I don't see any kind of location in your profile. A location would help us help you.Any idea what leaves a track like this? It looks like a mini bulldozer went through our yard last night. The tracks lead to under our crawlspace. Groundhog? Really fat racoon with its belly dragging? It's warmed up to a balmy -6F so I'm going to head out to plow. I'll walk back there and see if there are any recognizable foot prints in the track.

Something like that down here in the Deep South is usually a turtle. But it's always in mud. We don't have snow.Any idea what leaves a track like this? We've been really enjoying the sunrises here.We have some unbelievable sunsets. I don't have a phone/camera
good enough to really catch the true depth of the sky colors. But as
I've gotten older I will stop to appreciate a fire sky sunset. God's gift?
I think so.

The snow was about 7" deep. It was a very dry, powdery snow so the footprints aren't well defined enough to identify. Some belly dragger!
I'd guess otter but you said it went into your crawlspace. Maybe an opossum or raccoon. Groundhogs should be in hibernation.
How deep was the snow, and are there any footprints in it?
A well endowed squatch? Some belly dragger!![]()
