Or a crane. My Ex-GF had a swinging crane mounted in her van for her mom. It was 12v powered and could lift an electric scooter then swing it into the van. This was a full size Ford van though.

The crane I have on my milling machine came from HF. It swings too but it's a manual crank and jack for the lift. I bet a 12v wench could be adapted to it. I cut about a foot out of vertical post so I could get it under the roof.

I installed the very same HF lift crane on my trailer side and the wince failed after just a few lifts. I replaced it with a better one.

The way I think about it, good tires are a great investment in our health and safety. Shorter stopping distance, better traction, better handling in emergency situations. Totally worth paying $1k/4 years or so.
We agree and will include wiper blades in cheap to replace, compared to having some stupid accident.

Thanks, that reminds me. I used to get the safety inspection guy to replace my blades every year. I just renewed the tag registration but Texas no longer requires the inspection. They still charge you for it though.

Even the very best blades only last a year down here in the sun. Mine are starting to squeak a little on the morning wash but clean great.

I agree. Brakes first. Tires. Working lights... etc... I was just commenting that early on in life, tires were a major expense that we had to save up for and plan around, and as we get older and more established, we're now able to just buy them without much financial concern. Similarly, when we bought our first house, we took a 30 year mortgage and paid 3 points to get the interest rate down to 12.5% and lower the monthly payment to $256. 🤣

What's this 'safety inspection' you speak of? 🙃

Aquatic weed killer. Trying to get the pond somewhat usable. Water levels are down and I figured this was a good time to spray. Weedtrine-D I think is the name. Also got a two gal sprayer
Let me know how that works out. I have a customer with a pond with weeds they want controlled.
I’m looking at some herbicide called Propeller.

They "claim" noticeable results in as little as 3 days. I sprayed Sunday afternoon, and set a reminder alarm to check Thursday, but it might be Friday before I get back to it. I plan on needing to retreat atleast twice, if not 3 times to get adequate kill.

I use a combination of Aquaneat and Diquat w/surfactant. Seems to
work well. But it's never a once and done.

I use Flumigard, which looks like it's the same chemical as Propeller. I like it because it's for weeds and algae. Works pretty well.

I ordered a ROPS mounted tool box. Due here in a week.
Just last week I was wishing I had a toolbox for my B/Cab. I have not yet thought of a good place to put one, and I'l like something a bit bigger than that so that I can keep a 20' chain, ratchet strap and a few other things.

I have thought about putting it on the hood, but that has a negative effect on my visual sensibilities.

I have this weird plant that grows from the floor of the pond all the way up to the surface. It’s really gross and ruins the pond.

Kind of looks like stiltgrass. I had a bunch of cattail and iris that were taking over and Roundup didn't work well because of the waxy leaves. I would give Propeller a shot.

Not the grass sticking up out of the water.
Look at the olive green trash from the surface of the water and down.

Got it. Propeller will work, but it takes a while to break down. I had a lot of that and it's gone now.

I had that stuff in my pond. By late summer it looked like you could walk across it.
I purchased [emoji6] grass carp and within two years they eradicated it. All my carp have died off and it still has not returned years later.
My pond is about a / acre.

42 grass carp in a 1/4ac pond? Trying to figure out carp numbers for my pond.
