It’s been more a project than I originally planned but I finally got my van toolboxes mounted.

Had 2 of the 10-ply Load Range E dump trailer tires blow out on one side, must have hit something in the road. Fortunately they went flat after getting home. Replaced all four with Hartland 235/80 R16 Load Range G 14 ply tires. Also replaced one of the trailer tire TPMS sensors before they would all sync up with the truck TPMS. Nice to be able to monitor trailer tire pressures and temps going down the road.

It used to be TSC then became Peavey Mart.
I wondered how it stayed in business.
Used to go there for all sorts of things for the farm when it was TSC.
Now it was kind of between trying to supply farmers and city gardeners and not serving anyone well.
Their prices were generally high for things I could get for a better deal else where.
It's going out of business now with current savings up to 60%.

On the weekend I bought an attachment for my LEM meat grinder.
The attachment does a double grind in one pass.
It had a price tag of $69.99 and I kind of hummed and hawed aboot it.
Then I thought why not? Some of the blades and disks in the kit are worth more individually than the whole kit.
I go to the cashier and she says $200+.
WHAT? The price tag says $69.99.
Somebody tagged it wrong but she matched the price. $44 taxes in.
I checked on line when I got home. On the LEM site it lists for over $300 US.
SCORE!
Today I'm going back. I hope the gun locker is still there. Browning 36 gun capacity listed at $2400 marked down to $1100 but taking offers. If it's still there I'm thinking $800 and she be mine.

In my quest to get every ounce of accuracy out of this rig, I decided to replace the Victor Company Titan stock with the MDT Field Stock. The Titan is nice, but it's not stiff enough for me and my style of shooting. I don't just bench rest, I shoot positional and needed some rigidity to be able to load the bipods.

So... I ordered the MDT Field Stock. It has a full aluminum chassis inside, V-Block bedding, and is much stiffer. I just put a KIDD 20" heavy match barrel (non fluted) into the Summit receiver, so I need the extra stiffness.

The Field Stock has adjustable length of pull (using 1/4" spacers) and adjustable comb height. Can't wait to see how it feels in this stock!

Well, I bought it in February, But took delivery of it Friday evening. A 2021 CAT 289D3XPS CTL with 900 hours. I have rented a bunch of CTL's through the years. Renting is OK, but it seems the weekend is over before you get done with everything you want to use it for. In my case, I could rent it for months, but still not get everything done. So, I bought one. The thing is an absolute beast.

Found Moen commercial bathroom taps at 60% off.
Regular $200 each. I got 8.
Two of my baths have 2 sinks and then two powder rooms and a couple just to have. My fixtures don't leak but they are getting older. Nice if even for a cosmetic change.
The new ones really have that heavy commercial feel.
Thank you Peavey Mart.
