Good morning!!!!

Morning all, 47 and on the way down to 32, cloudy.
Lots of rain/lighting last night, but NYE was pretty good at friends house.

I thought I was the only one with a house bell, on our back porch.

Mostly, fireplace does not throw out a lot of heat, and when embers die out can make the house cold.

I have had good luck with Aquasane EQ-304 5 micron filters and replace every three months.
Then into a long Stainless UV light and into the pressure tank.
This stopped all my valves int eh house getting gunked up with rust and rock particles from the well. I pour out a tablespoon or so of bits from the filter bottom.
I have the clear filter with the pressure release button on top.

Happy New Year, off to do something, too windy to be out on the woods today.
So many branches down, it will take a while to clean up.
Maybe work on the table today.

Be well,

68°F and .47 inches rain.

Happy and Prosperous New Year to everyone.

Today is also my boy, Kekoa’s birthday. Eight years old.

Invited to a neighbor’s for a small gathering this afternoon. Otherwise nothing much planned.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Good Morning!!!! 44F @ 8:00AM. Sunny to partly cloudy. High 67F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.

Happy New Year everyone. Hope none of you are nursing a hangover.😵🤭
As usual, I didn't make it much past 9PM before I gave up nodding off and hit the sack. Neighbors made sure everyone knew it was midnight; sounded like World War III out there.

Credit card company stopped payment on a charge yesterday. Called and emailed the vendor asking about the charge, as I hadn't authorized it. Turns out they'd signed me up for an online course as part of a purchase. Their mistake, but credit card company was all set to cancel card and send out a new one. So had to call them and cancel the cancellation. Enough excitement for one day.

Picked up another couple racks for music CDs, and started filling them from a big pile of CDs that hadn't been racked yet. That meant playing monkey move up to get everything into alphabetical order. Ran out of empty rack space by the time I hit the "I"s. Need more racks, but not sure where I'll put them. Still resisting the urge to go all streaming, as I like to have the media for backup.

Made a few phone calls after dinner to check in with friends. All of 'em seem to be having health issues, unfortunately. I was hoping to spend NYE with friends, but they were sick, too. The Holidaze as I'll always remember them.

Happy Hump Day, Folks!

28°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 39° today. 15 mph wind is rather chilly. Looks like we get today and a couple more of no rain, then the bottom falls out on Sunday/Monday with ice and snow. Lows below zero next week. I guess winter had to arrive eventually.

I have a few weeks worth of catching up to do here.

Hope everyone is well.

Happy New Year, gents.

Nice barn riptides it dwarfs the hay
Thanks. The barn was the reason we bought the farm. Way better shape than the house. The real estate lady, a friend, would not show me the house. Said...it needed...way too much work.
WIfe had other ideas. Lol.

I called off looking for new car/truck. Just not motivated to spend 80 grand on something that should cost 65.
Keep looking it's fun.
I had been looking for years for a replacement for my 2002 F350 7.3L CC long bed. Last night a truck popped up on cars.com for a 2022 F250 diesel at Koons . For $50K, top of my price range and only 10,385 miles.
It has everything I need and much more, but dark charcoal (in and out), a no-no for my wife. She only wants white.
A younger me would have bought it and fought for it.
/edit - my dually 7.3 is an 8' bed, the 2022 is a 6 3/4' bed and Aluminum.

And I paid $30K for my HD2500 back in 08....
Neighbors trampoline down in my tree line, probably won't go much further, it's already hung up over a forsythia.

Another terrorist attack in New Orleans, sad...
