37 going to 59 and rain tonight.

Phil, cool lighthouse. What kind of tree?

We are members at Sams and Costco...my wife has determined at which store to buy certain items, and doesn't mind going to both. We probably do 90% at Costco, and I'm rarely ever with her when she goes to Sams. I guess I don't like going to both. 😁

It was nice hiking in shorts yesterday and driving home with the windows down at 68F. Della turned 9 months old yesterday...only mentioning that because she went into heat. Fortunately, the only dogs we passed on the trail were females.

Good morning TBN!!
48 and should tack on another 20 before the day ends. Should be mostly dry but cloudy. Going to enjoy before the weekend when the lows are going back to the 20s.
Pretty good day yesterday. Did a little to the buggy. I lack the confidence so I have been using jumpers to connect things. I did have it crank a few time, but starter cranked and stayed cranking with the key on. Getting closer at least. Got a little NH seat time clearing some fallen timber in a small area.
Got some seat time on both the 4 wheelers running the dog. Also plenty of walking time too. (14.7k).
Dog must of gotten nearly 100K :). Hmm. Wonder if he gets twice as many steps as I do with his 4 legs:unsure:
Looking at doing pretty much the same today things today.

Have a great and safe day!!

31 outside right now, lower 50's expected. Rain supposed to move in later today.

Still doing prep work for MIL relocation. Good news is that all the stuff accumulated from their place and my Dad's is starting to sell on Market Place. It was the best of stuff left over from Estate and Yard Sales. Stuff that one just could not give away. Our other house is actually clearing out and you can walk into it now.

More paperwork on order today. Wife goes to see her Doc in MD for a checkup so I will hold the fort and watch not my dog for the day.

Never set foot in the Sams, Costco or big bulk like stores. Fortunate enough to have had a butcher close by for a good part of life while here. Groceries were at regular stores for veggies and what not. We usually shop for a weeks supply food wise so bulk/big store stuff just was not our lifestyle. I probably don't know what I am missing.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe.

We have a BJ's over in the Saratoga area along with a Walmart, they are close to 45 minutes away for us. I haven't set foot in either one for many years. I do get some Walmart deliveries from online shopping and have utilized their curb side pickup a few times. I'm fortunate not to have to buy any beef in a store and often don't for pork or poultry getting them locally and in bulk, halves or whole. I do at times get chicken in the grocery store for my wife. But no bulk shopping for us, Costco is about 4 hours away, and the closest SAMs about an hour.

Good Morning
32° and clear. Will be 50 later this afternoon and raining this evening.
Yesterday was busy, but productive. Buddy’s well pump really was 500’ down into the bowels of the earth. The rented up-z-dazy did the lions share of the work.
The pump was definitely the problem, we found a replacement nearby, fortunately there are a lot of deep wells in his area, so local supply had a pump with the requisite number of stages (17) to lift the water. I did have to make a tool that involved the CNC plasma cutter, a lathe and milling machine. I could have done it with a trip to the hardware store, but what fun would that be, and my version was definitely better. But at the end of the day, success was at hand.

I didn’t get a lot else done, picked up the RAV4, actually made the shop neater than it was at the beginning of the day. Admittedly, that wasn’t very hard, but I’m moving in the right direction. I did get the battery maintainers on the tractor and the Lazer, but that was about it for the day.

Maybe today would be a good day for the driveway markers, and getting ready for a (not yet forecast) plowable snow.

good morning, 35 going to 50 sun will be back

Looked into the wiring on the van. Not able to figure out what is wrong. Apparently the wiring involves a controller that opens up ground to lights. The scan tool sensed an open circuit in the drivers door but no other wiring problems. The wiring diagrams are very complicated so not much help at least to me.

Will see what I may be up to for today

Good Morning!!!! 42F @ 4:45AM. Sunshine to start, then a few afternoon clouds. High 76F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph.

The closest Sam's Club is 83 miles from here, but I wouldn't shop there even if it was right next door. I'm boycotting Walmart, too, since they refused to refund the $12 core charge on one of their automotive batteries "because it's not in our system any longer".

Sanitized the old iPhone yesterday in preparation for returning it to Apple for a partial refund on the new one. I'll drop it off at FedEx tomorrow while I'm out getting the stiches out of my fingers.

Spent most of the day wrangling web pages, trying to migrate a site from one development tool to another. It's been long enough since I've done this kind of thing that it's been a struggle. I'm tempted to dedicate an old laptop to the job, but it would mean I'd have to stop updating the operating system. Not a good idea security wise.

Happy hump day, folks...
