31°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 44° today.
Wife and I actually crawled out from under our rock and did stuff this past weekend. Went to her niece's wedding Saturday afternoon. We had Samuel come over and feed the dogs while we were out. She pulled up the cameras while he was there, and we watched him walk down the stairs carrying two food bowls, no hands on the handrails. Looks like he's putting in the work with the new prosthetic.
Sunday evening we joined a bunch of friends for dinner at
The Lemp Mansion over in St. Louis. We've been there a couple of times before. Interesting place. On Sundays, they have an all-you-can-eat family style chicken dinner meal with about 10 sides. It's ridiculously delicious. Great conversations with friends we don't see much in person since I retired as a BarStar 10 years ago. We had a great time.
Yesterday evening, we heard a delivery truck pulling up the driveway. Amazon guy dropped our stuff in the box as directed. I started walking out to get it when he backed up a few feet, and instead of backing further and turning around in the extended gravel area (which was a big part of why we did that), he turned left and drove right through the yard and back onto the driveway.

Pretty sure I yelled some unpleasant language in his general direction. Great. Even more ruts to fix ... been raining here over the weekend, and that's where the pecan tree just came out.
People ...
Great news, Drew. Congrats!
Good afternoon, gents.
