Seems Ironwood got lots more. Higher elevations usually get more than us lake level people.

Higher elevations up by the Huron mtns got some decent snow I guess also. Hopefully it stays.

This was from Sunday. It had settled a little by then. Three days in the Mahindra removed over 28" from the driveways!

I heard the NWS spokesperson in Gaylord say there was 42" from Thursday through the weekend. Just depends where you were in relation to the lake effect snow bands. Jon

We got a winter storm warning for here now. Its pretty warm, to warm, but cooling as the day goes....

We got a nice snow today with lots of wind but temps did drop, so we went out just before dark. Photo was taken live.

Yah, I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up on Lake Ontario. It was in a heavy Lake Effect Snow belt, which was a gift as a kid - "No school again today"! Graduated with a 6th grade education because of all the snow days.

But it was a severe obstacle for my morning newspaper route. I've dragged a toboggan delivering 60 newspapers a day over a whole lot of miles...it looked a lot like Mr. Arly's last photo, only I was the Mule.

I never looked back the day I left.
