Anyone try the Holzfforma Fuel/oil container?

I tired of messing with 2-cycle gas and pull-start stuff, now I have Ryobi 40V electric string trimmer and chain saw.
By the time the 4AH battery runs down so am I, so we go to the house for R&R.
I do have a 6AH and 2AH battery in the garage in case I feel feisty and want to cut more.

I'm not able @ 82, but if I still was I'd carry spare batteries instead of 2-cycle gas.
Years ago my BIL and I would cut wood for us and my dad. We normally stopped cutting and splitting after 20 cords of wood.
BTW, virtually all small engines state in the owners manual to only use premium gas, without Ethanol. That's $5/G around me.

That's just STUPID advice.

The effective compression ratio of modern two strokes is no better than 8 or 9 to one. High Octane is just so much fluey!
Ethanol is a carburettor component issue. I've had good luck, but I'm not opposed to taking a carb apart to unstick the sticky parts.
I'm 73, and "able" is no reason to buy a fuel can with stupid features.

I see it now.

I do have a length of masons line fixed to my fuel can that I use to tie on a bottle of bar oil when I'm away from the yard. A "constrictor knot" around the bottle neck works fine!

Its bar oil for chainsaws, not 2 cycle oil.

I buy two stroke oil in six packs with each bottle just right for my 2 gal plastic gas can.

Same here, no chance of screwing up the ratio.

I add Sta-Bil to each gas can when I bring 'em home

The Echo oil is supposed to have stabilizer in it

HD I have one that looks like this.

But I got it probably 30+ years ago, pre nozzle foolishness I believe from Baileys.com.
Anymore I find it a little more convenient to just carry a small jug of mix and whatever jug the bar oil comes in.

I really like the Husky set up. 2 reservoirs in one can. Auto shut off nozzles, so no spillage, and tool storage.
I think they used to sell them in Europe only, but there was a way to get them pretty cheap.
Mine was only $40 on Amazon 5yr ago, now $150???? 350% inflation?

You can just pull the spring out and use it as a normal pouring mix container without the push in and release spring.

I always just use regular spout on bar oil never the auto spring loaded one.

Some swell up due to folks using E-gas and had to do that fix.

I have one and only use Efree so never a issue yet unless it was like 100F out then would get sticky. Otherwise I would just pull spring out myself.
