Today is the first hayride in the wagon. Ready and waiting for them to show up!
Yes, that was a shame as there is not anyone around here selling running gear. They said my local JD dealer was a dealer for them but these guys had no interest in ordering one for me. I am glad now as I believe I have a much nicer wagon than I could have built anyway.K5lwq - some posts back you mentioned that Horst could not sell to you because you are not a distributor. I can add to that. So I drove all the way from Cheney, WA to Boise, ID to get my Horst running gear. The round trip took ALL day.
I get there and the fellow gives me the same story you heard. No distributor - no sales. I asked, very nicely, if he could sell to my business license. He finally agreed and I got my Horst running gear.
I hear ya. I know I better enjoy it while it lasts. My granddaughter kept saying “I just love living in the country!”I can still remember when my great grandkids were that age. Now it's more about cell phones, lap top computers and daily contact with their friends. Great granddads place is not so neat any more. They can smell the neighbors cows and my driveway can be dusty in the summer.
I get the last chuckle though. Their cell phones and lap tops don't work so very well out here.
Unfortunately I don’t. I do plan on putting something up for it and the tractors at some point. The only thing I have is my shops in Lindale but I like looking at the wagon so want to keep it here.Your wagon sure looks good!!! Hopefully you'll be in a parade with it somewhere. Do you have a barn to store it out of the sun and the weather?

They live in the DFW metroplex and have never spent anytime in the country. My son and their mom were married earlier this year. Her dad is estranged and her ex’s parents are different. These kids took to my wife and I immediately and started calling me Grandpa on their own.
I hope I live long enough to make a difference in these kids lives.
I live about 5 miles east of Mineola. But the wagon tows nicely up to about 60mph. It will jump a little bit if it hits a pothole but not bad.I thought you lived closer to your storage units. How far did you pull it on the roads? I be it looked pretty impressive to everyone that saw it!!!
I have thought about doing something similar but so far everyone can just step in off of that stool. It is light enough to just set in the wagon so it is with us at all times. You might want to think about adding some folding steps that could fold up and become part of your rail/side when not in use.
