Ours is just part of our homeowners policy. It never leaves the property, unless it's being trailered to our other property. We do no commercial work with it. When I was volunteering with it at the Little League and Church, their insurance covered liability.

I don't know what state your in but Farm Bureau is in most states and in my case no one else even comes close to the coverage for the money.

Check with your insurance agent for a Marine policy on the tractor for what is owed on it.
Our homeowners doesn't cover a compact tractor. It only covers a riding mower.
A compact tractor is considered farm equipment and requires a separate policy.
It was delivered today! Very happy with the pricing, I got it for less than what I estimated a Summit would be with a box blade and grapple.

My agent says if it has a belly mower and used on property and not for hire it’s covered…

Most insurance companies sell Marine Ins for tractors and boats.
Ask them, if not, buy it elsewhere.
The lender is requiring it. I had mine in place prior to closing the loan when I bought the 8560.

In my area Farm Bureau is the only company that offers it, and then only if you have homeowners with them.
Well, I ended up going with Progressive for now. Bundled with the house and vehicles.
The agent originally said they don't cover compact tractors, until I sent him a screenshot of their website.
I don't have a need for a belly mower, so separate policy it is.
