Speaking of seats, I bought a tractor in the south and there must have been a hillbilly hobbit running it!

They had taken the stock seat off it and mounted one that was so low and far forward, a "normal sized" guy had all kinds of problems running it.

SO, this is how I fixed it,

I'll probably change it again later, but at least it's a LOT more user friendly for now!

I'd love to find an inexpensive older 70's tractor to put some turf tires on just to pull my 8' finish mower and keep the hours off the Kubota.

I took the ROPS off, too many low hanging limbs in a tree farm.

That tractor has 45hp on the pto, I bought it new in the 90's.

IF that Kubota is any good, it won't matter how many hours you put on it. lol

It has been, it's made me more money than I ever paid for it, and it's had 0 breakdowns!

I liked it so much, two years later I bought another one.

I cheated today...

Had the 3pt roller on (no additional weight, empty drum) and lightly grazed the surface while I cut on high today.
The drum is 48" wide, while the mulch deck is 60" so I challenged myself to keep the lines even when overlapping
I thought I did a pretty good job? Beautiful weather this time of year.

Your mower does a nice job. What is it like pulling it from one corner like that? It gives you a great offset so you can keep the wheeler out of the rough but does it try to run off to one side ?? Just wondering. Mine pulls from the middle with no offset capability. Wish I had some at times.
