Max 25 HST FLUID

Hi, I need to top off my hydraulic transmission fluid in my Mahindra max 25 HST and I was wondering if this fluid is OK to use. Thanks!

Don't know about the Traveller premium you posted, but I hope this may help you or someone else.

CARQUEST 760-01 tractor fluid.

it has the same spec as Mahindra Universal Hydraulic oil and the same verbage is on the label of the Mahindra oil and the Carquest oil. This leads me to believe they are either made at the same facility or just by "coincidence" are the exact same specification.

I use the Carquest oil in my tractor and know several Mahindra tractor dealers that sell it.

I would have no problem with the Traveller Premium....I'm sure lots of others use it.

The book says API-GL-4, gear oil, 80W...Is this the same stuff? All I can find is 80-90 GL-5.

If it calls for GL-4, do not use GL-5.

You have an HST and the manual says to use regular gear oil?

Or is it for the front axle, not the transmission?

It's HST, forward and backward pedal. This is why I'm confused. Thank you for helping by the way. I recently bought this and theres no fluid on the sightglass, I need to add or change it.
