I did a some stump extractions recently at a couple of my neighbors' places, what a mess doing it with the bucket!

So I finally decided to spring for the Bxpanded quick change bracket and ripper tooth, they came yesterday so I'm gonna install it today. Will tackle a inconveniently located stump on my property afterwards, if I have time.

Saturday afternoon walked out found my right front R1 (AG) tire with blown out sidewall. let me tell you removing the mid mount mower was iffy then.
luckily I had the R4 tires it came with stored.
hauled them into tire shop, they knocked me out. did not want to charge me anything so I gave the 2 people there 10$ each. and thats why they will drop everything for me.
anyways....left front R1 and rt front R4. luckily they are same diameter.

"No Mow May" and all that.... I couldn't stand it any longer so I finally fired up the LRB with the MMM and mowed the lawn for the first time.

Grass wasn't too high in most areas, but last fall we had an absolute DELUGE of small maple helicopter seeds -- I think maybe striped maples. Covered the driveway, clogged roof gutters, etc. In any case, the was a literal forest of 3" high baby maples with their pair of brownish-green leaves poking up out of the grass all over the lawn!

No more.....

GC 2410. I'd like to replace the 3pt stabilizers. Anyone find a decent priced non-oem replacement?

Tilled the garden again yesterday, would like to do it one more time if the rain stops long enough to dry it out enough again. Really getting tired of the freaking rain.

for the side lift links I went with these
for top link I went with this

I use pats quick hitch so I have bar going between the 2 arms always there so replacing the turnbuckle adjusters not needed for me.

Could you take a pic of yours on your machine now?

The tiller or the garden, or do you mean a picture of the 3PT stabilizers?

First time I'm back and it's dark now.

Tractor and tiller are in the shed, I can try to take a picture of it there but probably won't show much, just a rear view. I will try to remember to take one of the side view next time I have it out and that will depend on the garden drying out enough to till again.

I have a feeling my garden will be going in late this year. I should be marking out rows next weekend but it looks like rain all weekend..... again.

The garden is still too wet for me to do it again today, it will just clump up. Not supposed to get any rain today or tomorrow. I will check it again after work tomorrow, but if I can't do it then looking at the long range forecast the earliest I'll be able to do it will be next Sunday. I really need 3 dry days in a row for it to dry out enough to till. I generally can't plant until June here, but I usually get the rows marked the last weekend in may.

I dug a 100ft trench for a retaining wall through rocky soil. The ground and rocks were so hard the standard bucket just bounced off.

The six inch bXpanded bucket worked much better, but wasn't perfect. For the deeply embedded boulders I had to resort to the "knife blade" type attachment. In the end I got it done, but it was 5x the work I expected it to be.

hube2,

It's OK since the small winter we had last year.

I wouldn't mine if this weather and rainfall continues throughout the summer to keep the wildfire risks down a little bit.

I did manage to till the garden again yesterday afternoon. Don't know if you can tell from the image, but my garden is on a hill (10 to 15 degrees). I tilled it length ways across the hill. When the ground was un-tilled the first time it was not a problem, but with the dirt soft the tiller tends to move the dirt down the hill, in fact the entire tiller tended to drift down the hill pulling me off a straight line across the garden. I generally like to do it both ways, but I won't be tilling across in soft tilled soil ever again. I've decided I want to do it one more time just to push the dirt back up the hill.
