Well, it hasn't been started since August of 2023... Seven months. No battery tender either.
So I gave her a crank and it lit off after half a spin. Got it up to temp and ran it around the property just to get the ol juices flowing. I wanted to be sure when the field dries, it is ready to go.View attachment 854950View attachment 854951

It has 4” blades. I put it to work every spring, it never disappoints!

I put a new battery in the old girl today. The old one failed to start last week. Tractor had been sitting for a few weeks and it had been cold but not so cold it should have failed. Besides it was 6 yrs old. I replaced 600 CCA with 750 CCA.
I used the cylinder locks I made last fall. No worries working under the raised loader.

Our tractors prefer to sleep outdoors. It doesn't seem to hurt them, so I go along with it
