Isn't it odd? The price of groceries is up the, the price of cars is up, and the price of houses is up but the price of gas is coming down.
They don't give out welfare stamps for gasoline and diesel like they do 'food stamps'.

Well back in from a walk around the yard and trip down the driveway after last nights rain and high winds. It took down 3 pines on my lawn, but just a bunch of small sticks (under an 1 1/2") in the driveway so not bad. Only a few largertrees on the farms main fences lots of small ones.

The root ball is close to 5 feet above grade as it sits,
the larger one in the main yard it's 60-70' used to be tall.
They will be laying there for a while even walking around your feet sink an inch or so, so definitely no tractors for awhile

Two bit, I use my son for the PC as well. He has zero education in IT, but he is good at it anyway.

Started plowing shortly after 9 this morning. The snow was wet, good packing snow for snow balls but a pita in the bucket. Took me 4 hours to plow out myself and 5 other driveways. It was a 6" snowfall. I have 7 hours so far on this tank full of fuel and it is still over half full. Next time out I will fill it, because I will NOT allow any of my fuel tanks to go below half in winter. The furnace oil tank is the only exception. The furnace sucks off the bottom of the tank.

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 11.4C and it's presently 25.6C, partly cloudy with a gentle breeze.

Yesterday's 'into town' run went well and, after lunch, I went out to the shed to start pouring oil... but first I needed to remove the old engine oil filter. "No problem", says I, " it'll be an easy job, probably 5 minutes." 40 minutes LATER, bruised arm, 'barked' knuckle and utterly exhausted the bloody thing finally loosened and came off. I think that I also pinched a nerve for half of the tip of my right 'pointer' finger as it's still numb.

It appears that I had the strength of the proverbial 'factory 800lb gorilla' when doing the last engine oil change.💪

Anyway, all of the filters & plugs are back on and I filled the engine oil before calling it a day. The hydraulic oil will get done today, then it'll be a matter of disposing of the used oil.

That's about it, take care all.
