40 going to 71.

Thomas real nice thing you did.

LS, looks real good. Nice job.

Got a little work done on the ladder yesterday, not as much as I had hoped. But a few other chores are checked off.

71 today, so I may do bit of trim washing/scrubbing where the algae/mildew seems to like to hide.

43 outside this AM, may reach 70. They say rain might bless our area later tonight.

We are classified as in extreme drought conditions.

The wildfires to the South of us seem to have made their appearance here with smoky haze late yesterday. Buppies area.

Kylie, wife doing super all around. Daughter, physically coming around, mentally not well. Her finances are a wreck and her lifestyle has obviously been set back a few years now. She has got to find a way to push through this and get back into the rat race.

The sinks still have not shown up, 1930-1940 cast irons, so they are a two person project.

More stuff is ending up in the Milk House....LOL. Only thing for today is a few metal screws here and there, move some tools out, and make the bathroom tile ready.

Hope all have a good Friday, a good start to the weekend. Be safe, those ailing, get well.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (in spite of autokowrecked (or not screw up to badly)).

46.7 F going to mid-50s, overcast day in store.

Got ambitious and knocked together four pallets into a half-cord woodshed to get all the bits and pieces from the log delivery out of the driveway, then added a bunch of other wood from limbs I have cut and stacked the last couple years. Filled it up completely, nice to have more burnables under cover. I used some of the free shingles we got last autumn off FB marketplace to roof it, and Siri’s it down about 16” around the top. I decided to be lazy about it and used an air stapler instead of pounding in roofing nails.

also got the big log cut into a half-dozen pieces which now need to be split, but did not blow leaves… it isn’t like there won’t be more falling on the ground today, too!

today is an admin day, we got our invitations to go back to do tax prep work, so we need to go to the office to fill out that paperwork, then a dump run, a bit of running around, pickups at the PO Box, fill some gas cans, maybe lunch out… maybe I will blow leaves this afternoon? We’ll see…

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!
