Airlines did this a few years back, massive wage increases. Some are now losing money hand over fist in this current busy environment. What will happen in the next downturn? I'll be out. But it will get interesting.

I see Toyota has increased it's hourly rate to it's non union employees commensurate with the UAW's pay increase. I would imagine that they don't want the UAW to make any inroads in their non union employees factories.

No, it proves that wage price inflation is a thing. The union ultimately just makes the numbers bigger for everyone. Purchasing power stays the same or gets worse.
