It won't move

Somewhere down underneath - in a spot difficult to see and even more difficult to reach. Something in one of your linkages is loose, has come undone or is broken and needs a new part. Other problems tend to come on slowly

I'm not sure of what you mean by intellipanel but nothing on the dash is throwing any lights. We checked all the linkages and all seem to be working up until it goes inside where it's not visible. Thanks for all the input I am not ruling anything out just yet.

ALL the linkages? The range shifter (Low/High) and not just the pedals?

Had similar thing happen to me on my 4260HST. Figured out it was the forward reverse linkage under the floor. A rod had slipped out and once reinstalled problem solved. Have someone move treadle forward and back while you are underneath observing linkage- engine off of course

The M59 uses a digital dashboard called IntelliPanel and your can access onboard diagnostics. I don't know if your machine uses the same panel or if they are compatible. From the M59 manual:

"When the main switch is turned to ON or START position while pushing both the display mode switch and the travel speed switch, the mode selection display as shown. And then, a target mode is selected, the data input and the fine adjustment, etc. can be done. The following table shows the content of each mode display by the alphabet."

Sign Mode Name Contents
A Test Mode For checking the sensors, battery voltage and engine revolution
H Error Information Display Mode For reviewing error information (history)

This can help you find a code to help track down which sensor is causing problems. Some sensors may require calibration with IntelliPanel to work properly.

Hello all,

I have read a lot of different formulas on my problem but no one seems to find the problem. I purchased my Kubota brand new has never sat outside, no heavy pulling, treated like a baby. Today we was grading a drive way about done and all a sudden i went to go forward and nothing, backwards nothing. Bucket will go up and down grading box works correctly, RPMs sound good, clutch sound as it engages when you push on it with RPMS up. Its as i am in N and not Medium Low or High... called the dealer and talked to a mechanic and said to check the HST filter under the driver side step for metal shavings. I did so and it looks perfect. I am stumped, all linkages were checked. tried shifting in all gears , fwd everything. Nothing.... same outcome. HST filter was put back on started, took the filter off again it refilled same verdict, all looks good. Tractor is a 2014 L4600HST and has 400 hrs on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This just happened to my tractor it was also L4600 HST 4wd what was your out come thanks

When mine did what sounds the same or similar, the problem was a control cable that ran from underneath the HST pedal back to the HST tranny where it wrapped around about a 4" drum to turn a shaft into the transmission.
Had to lay under the right side to see it, and it looked OK. But when I worked the HST pedal I could tell nothing was moving in the cable and of course the drum didn't rotate. Replaced the cable took about half an hour & no problems since.
I'll see if I can find some photos.

Here is the link to my repair on a similar problem:

Just saw this - the HST in that tractor is controlled by solenoid valves under the floorboard. Look for a loose or disconnected plug or some such. There's likely a fuse too. Could be simple.

The older HST's were strictly mechanical/hydraulic so repair can get spendy - but electric control valves are accessible from the outside. Best luck, Dick B.

CORRECTION - and apologies! I now realize that the L4600H Kubota uses a modified version of their mechanically controlled HST WITHOUT solenoid control of F & R motion. It uses a hydraulic regulator valve to control speed, with direction selected mechanically by the foot pedal linkage tilting the swash plate inside forward or back (similar to the smaller HST's on B models)

If charge pump pressure is low or zero the most likely cause of no F or R motion is a bad clutch. The PTO valve would switch on ok but the shaft would not be powered.
