Good evening all. 63ºF for the start, partly cloudy, light breeze. Light wind, partly cloudy sky, and high temp was 92ºF. Forecast for low 90's for the 10 day. but no rain. Putter to start day, then bike ride, the cool down/ lunch, the mow front yard till mower empty. Used paper towel to clean bottom fuel tank then finished mowing, with recent rains had to mow most of the yard. Did get nap in and some kitchen cleanup.

Frits glad Cody's fur protected him from hornets. Hope grocery pickup went smoothly. Hope he stayed out of hornets today.

Billy glad you got hike, hope bill not bad, and hope the flu shots work this year.
Thomas water surface temp was 82ºF.

Coffee taste very good. 58° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 64° with cloudy skies. Grass never dried yesterday. So washed car again. Did other cleanups around yard and barns. Grass mowing is back on todays list.
Did not take long for cleanup crew to show up at feeders.

Morning all! 41 going to 65. At least it's not raining!
Leaves are just starting to turn and I already have a bunch on the ground. Was a pretty quiet week which we both enjoyed.
Starter came back from the rebuilder so I will be heading over to help on the old John Deere project today. Hopefully can get it started!
Heading down to the Carlisle fairgrounds in Pa. for the last show of the season on Friday. Should be a fun event except rain in is the forecast. Will make for a muddy mess.
No news or updates on medical stuff as we're both chugging along.
Will start leaf cleanup when I get back and also fertilize the garden and till it in. Looking at taking the mower and bucket teeth off the tractor and installing the snow blower and plow while it's still nice out. Need to oil and filter the tractor at the same time.
Did a few more projects in the shop while it was raining.

good morning all from Abingdon MD.
slowly waking up, my Puerto Rican coffee continues to please.

have to spend some time this morning dumping the tanks, since rv will now sit for awhile. no sense leaving here before 9am, traffic will be bad no matter what. Think I'll cut over to NJ and take 295 North.
Only problem there is only one of the four bridges back over to PA in my area are big enough for rv. So I have to use the toll bridge to get back over to Pa. Jersey side has nicer roads...

lot to do when I get home, will see if lawn mower guys showed up or do I have a big mess. Plus I have to make a quick trip to supermarket for Powerball ticket.

Ted, helpful info on that motor, thank you. Just makes a strange noise at times

Mostly, I didn't understand the paper towel and gas tank reference. ??

Finally got enough rain to make the little side creek flow over the waterfall at the battlefield forest where I hiked yesterday.

Great news...son and DIL had a baby girl this morning...Isabel. Our first grandchild. Likely trip to Raleigh on our agenda.
