I took him for a tour of the wood shop and welding and metal forming areas as well. Then he remembered that his wife was in the car, and took her next door.
I think I had as much fun showing him around as he had. And we didn’t even make it upstairs! Apparently shop geeks all think alike.
Good Afternoon PopG,
Yes all shop guys think alike ! I always love going through another shop, to see what type of equipment they have ! Then you have that moment when you realize you need another piece of equipment for your shop ! :)

A touch of Heavenly art this morning

and of course you told Sophie you already found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow when you found her. 🥰

quiet afternoon in a campground in Gloucester VA, a very historic area at the bottom of the Chesapeake on the Western side. Tomorrow I head up that West side and make one more stop, in Abingdon Md.
this large campground associated with 1000 Trails made me sit for 20 minutes at gate since I was half an hour early. That's simply absurd.
Some old guy, these are our rules, whatever. So I sat, and finally they brought the golf cart around and took me back to the site. It's fine, not worthy frankly of a picture. Besides, I needed a nap. Second half of this drive not easy.

the part heading north through OBX was a mix of simply awesome nature looking at giant dunes near the road, and an endless stream of ticky tacky shops. But at least the traffic moved. And I got a tank of Shell regular for 3.39
sure haven't done that in a while

I put a chair outside and read my kindle for awhile. I'm by the main road, and there's a speed bump there so I was entertained by the protesting suspensions going by. One guy likely had a broken shackle the way his trailer was rattling.

lasagna in the microwave, slowly heating up. 900watts takes a while.

Good evening, everyone.

Had a great day, putting up OSB in the middle bedroom in the basement. We’ll finish it off tomorrow, and then we start on the floor.

Ceilings are some 11 feet tall, which actually looks a little bit strange considering the room is only 9 foot 2 x 11‘ six. Nonetheless, we are going to put bunkbeds in that basement bathroom, for guests, to have kids or what not.

Have a great night, everyone!

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 3.4C and it's presently 17.6C, clear with a gentle breeze.

Purposely up 'late', quick 'tubs' and dressed (no coffee or breaky) IOT catch & take Penelope to the Vet for 0830 = success! They'll call sometime this arvo to pick her up. Fortunately, a teeth cleaning is going to be every 5 years.

Home after that to enjoy my morning coffees & breaky. Yet another blackwood branch to take down but it'll be a 10 minute job. Then it's just a matter of waiting for the Vet to call for the pick-up... oh, and pay for it, of course. Estimate is between A$300 - 500 depending on what they find/do.

That's about it, take care all.

- Mrs split more wood,

today begins with trip to the chiro,
your wifey must surely love you. chopping wood while you're at the chiro.

Maybe you have a load of brownie points stored up?

I told my wifey and she said, "Don't get no big ideas".
Good Morning Guys,
Ct, 54 to start going to 60 ! Another day of rain, making it three in a row ! :(

mostly_gas, it shoukd have been spelled missalette, which means, a shortened form of missal published periodically for congregational use. What i was trying to convey was the church program for the church service, with prayers and readings that all the parishioners can follow along with ! Obviously my German is better than my English !:)

Today is my last full study day before going to DMV in morning to renew my license and study for hazmat knowledge test ! So I guess its good that the weather is rain !

Maybe a little after puttering in the garage this afternoon, never seem to get that work bench totally cleaned up !

All have a blessed and safe day !
Hope it goes smoothly at the DMV. Get your studying done!

One person came to my shop door, I told him it was next door but come in out of the rain. He looked around and said he was in heaven,as he was a retired high school shop teacher after almost 40 years. The front door of the shop opens into the machine shop, I took him for a tour of the wood shop and welding and metal forming areas as well. Then he remembered that his wife was in the car, and took her next door.
I think I had as much fun showing him around as he had. And we didn’t even make it upstairs! Apparently shop geeks all think alike.

Today will be back to the TSA project, at least until FedEx arrives with my charging station. With any luck maybe my car will ready to pick up.
I love going through shops too! And seeing some of the guys shops here online has me drooling quite often. Yours included.

No rain here again, surrounded by showers, just not our turn. Here's the 24 hour rainfall totals. Yesterday the same happened, but I'm thankful we didn't get the hailstorm that hit TxDon and Round Rock.

Ta, Mate... and he didn't really find 'anything', even the tartar accumulation wasn't bad. She's home now and just a wee bit 'groggy' but has had something to eat. All's well.

AND I was only charged A$189. No need for the next 5 years.
