Several years ago we had a cat that came down from the neighbor and stayed with us. Neighbor came and got him several times but he always escaped and returned to stay with us and they finally gave up and left him with us. He was a big white cat and we called him Kitty. He usually slept with his legs sticking straight up.

I am happy to see that they worked "it" out and can both share quality time with "Daddy."
It's obvious "Kitty" felt more secure and at home at your place.

Snagglepuss, the mother to pebbles is the neighbors cat, but is over here constantly.

Pressure washing done for the day
1st a good go to get whatever crap, then hit with the foam gun with a bleach/Dawn mix.
Then hit again
My friend Keith picking these up tomorrow for water collection for his green houses. Probably hit again before loading as he has no surplus water.

We had a dog a black lab that came and showed up at our place. We contacted animal control of the county to see if they could locate the owner and they came and got it. This happened many times and then one day a new neighbor came over and talked about some crazy lady that kept calling animal control and he had to pay fines. Wife said well that crazy lady is me. He wisely decided to leave the dog with us so Jake was happy and had a good life with Kitty

Thank you for adopting this dog.
It knew a safe place. There's nothing wrong with being a little bit "crazy" and I am happy to read that it all worked out. As bad as USA civility can be, old and "crazy people" get much more social latitude and acceptence with publicly displayed behaviors and expressed vocalizations in the community, and more importantly can make "things" happen" that a "normal" person could not..
