Which UTV and dealer? Looked a bit at the Suzuki and Kawasaki dealer myself but, left with mixed feelings.

Is your TYM dealer around Paris as well?

South Main Iron. Wife wants the Hi sun E1 electric UTV. Should work ok for our purposes. Not my favorite, but the prices on the more domestic brands are still ridiculous.

I got the tractor from Big Tex in Caddo Mills. Funny story, about 3 minutes before I got the call that it was ready, the Longview guy finally emailed me...not with the quote that I asked for, just asking for a contact number. I can't decide if I should ghost him or let him know how badly he screwed up.

The MX loader has 500 lbs less lift than my T574.

Thats what I said. Tractors weight the same.....loader on the T574 can lift more. But it already takes over 1000# hanging off the back of the MX as well as loaded tires to keep the rear planted. You would need even MORE on the T574

I think Kubota sets the hydraulic pressure to keep the lifting capacity lower to avoid potentially damaging the tractor.

I need to check the hydraulic pressure on my MX5400 to verify. When I owned a L3301 I was able to raise the pressure 250 psi.

Ive had the gauge on mine before. Dont remember the exact....but it was 2500 +/- 50

Without a tape measure, TYM appeared to be a very similar size except it was wider. Personally, I think my L-4600 is really too narrow for its overall height. Longer wheel studs and spacers might be a fix to this but, I don't really want to also build a dedicated ballast box to deal with insufficient steel in the rear end of the tractor.

I am also looking for a modest Hp increase as well for PTO use. Hydraulic capacity is fine on my L-4600 for loader and 3-pt work but, tough mowing could use a bit more PTO Hp.

For heavier hay bales, a bit more tractor weight would be a good thing too! Yes, a Kubota MX tractor would be better but, pricing is an issue in today's market. And, whether it is properly balanced or it is balanced like my L-4600 has made me a bit gun-shy if you will. Not a lot different from locals that WILL NOT BUY A NEW HOLLAND tractor due to emissions issues on some of them affecting various owners locally; once bitten, twice shy!

I tried to buy a Kubota M5-091 right as COVID hit so, the order never went through. During COVID I could not get one configured closely to what I wanted so, that and a $20K price increase for fewer features was a real turn-off. Recently the tractor I wanted was sort of available but, was delivered on "spec" so, there was no chance of getting the transmission I really wanted.

I ended up with a Massey 5711D! A lot more tractor and significantly cheaper too! That Dyna transmission with the Brake-n-Go feature is simply awesome!

The Massey's also have some features others miss. Specifically, the 2850M I looked at had 3-pt ends/swivels that spun 90 degrees to go from Cat 1 to Cat 2! Genius!

If you ended up with a Massey 5711, why do you want a smaller 2850? The 5711 is A LOT of tractor and is really nice. Love my 4707 so far.

I need something more compact without the cab to work in areas with tight tree density. I also need something to use around the house and with my tiller. The chipper is also only rated for 40~60?Hp so, the 5711D is massively too big though I could probably get by with the 540E PTO rating.

When I do storm clean-up, a smaller tractor is a whole lot easier to move and, won't be as hard on people's yards or buried lines in semi-rural areas. Then there is the added benefit of being able to have someone move hay bales while the 5711D is busy making them!

Not every job needs an 8lb sledgehammer to tack a nail to hang a birdfeeder!

I have the L4330 here in Texas with same conditions. Have power beyond for front end (post hole digger/ mulcher, etc) . you already have more than enough HP to do your chores. I pull a 84" bush hog while doing dirt work on an incline without issue.
