That's what I do. Exactly. Same container and same spout. I do put a piece of padding on the hood so it doesn't eat up the paint so bad...wish I'd done so years ago.I use this. Set the can on the hood and spout goes into tank and fill. No spills, no holding 40 pounds in the air.
$329? dang! I got a battery one from Amzn, which should work ok for the amount I'm gonna use it. I'll try to extend the hose and see how that works, without the need to lift the jug...Get one of these made in USA 12 V drum pumps and couple of suitable used 55 gallon plastic drums and be done with it most likely for a lifetime and then some.
