I'm also waiting, not patiently but waiting...
We have TCS in my area but they aren't on the list to get tractor sales at this time. I might have to go to MI or grab one in TX and take it home. Looking at the Solis website, I really like what I see about the tractor. It is far from a new tractor on the market, just a new marketing strategy to sell tractors through local stores instead of big regional dealerships. Call me crazy but I like it.

Not a division of ITL/Solis but rather a U.S. based company with their own sales channels, service centers, support, etc. They chose ITL to supply the TX25H and they chose a U.S. based oem mfg to supply the Summit Tractors grapple bucket, for example. Indeed it is a new business model, different from any previous retail tractor product we've seen (which were branded under the store name where they were being sold).

Understood. Thanks for explaining that. I too work in a global company that markets a few things under other badges in far off lands. Some that we own and some that we just sell products to. Just my opinion but whomever chose the model of tractor to do this with, made a really good choice. Summit has an excellent reputation and they seem to working hard to build on it with their method of getting these into the consumer's hands.
Craziness. I had just about gotten out of the mindset to buy another tractor and to spend some of my kids inheritance on some other piece of garage jewelry or some other frivolous thing to ride or drive. Now I think I need a new tractor.

Yep, that is what started this thread. I am from Illinois but work in Texas. Long commute, I know....
I had seen mention of this brand for a year or so I think. A few weeks ago I was in an Atwoods store and there in the entryway was a new Summit tractor. Being sort of a tractor aficionado, I had to look closely at it. Obviously I couldn't drive it but as a long time tractor owner and heavy equipment maintenance type, I looked carefully and I liked it. Had all the right things that make a tractor useful around my place and the fit and finish along with build quality were very good. It's a winner in my book. Part of me wants to wait and see if they offer a BH for them. But another part of me wants to pull the trigger on a purchase now.

Alright, I will admit to being more than a little curious about these tractors. A lot of people think a subcompact or compact tractor are too small to do real work. I beg to differ. These are a perfect size for many home and property owners. All my opinion of course. These really look good with the right standard equipment. I will wait just a little bit longer to see if they make it to my home area in Illinois. If not, I'll travel to get one. I would like to see some reports from an owner. Don't bust my bubble please. I am looking forward to seeing more and running one when I can get some seat time.

My question is the Mitsubishi motor balanced most of these Mitsubishi motors I have seen vibrate under higher RPMS. What is different on this unit. I have always appreciated yanmar motors they are smoother well balanced. I have interest in this Summit unit but need to know if it’s capable of MMM. I purchased in 2020 LS MT225S at 19k usd with MMM and FEL. It has been extremely good unit no complaints at 275 hours.However I could use secondary unit in next year.

Good questions. We have a lot of confidence in the Mitsubishi engine. Smooth, powerful and reliable. As for a MMM, the Summit TX25H is more of a work tractor than a mowing tractor. Weighs 3,400 lbs with the loader and standard RimGuard (beet juice) in the rears. We recommend a 3-pt finish mower for those that want to use the tractor to mow. Costs less, easier on/off, great cut, ability to back the mower under tree limbs. Frequent on/off of the MMM can get old fairly quickly. We believe that a MMM is a decent choice on smaller, lighter 24-25HP tractors but not the TX25H. Hope that makes sense, and again, thanks for your question and your comments.

A standard subcompact tractor is okay with a MMM. The Summit looks to me to be a little big for that type of work. If I get one, I will go with the big 3 pt mower and use something else to trim around the trees. If the main job I wanted to do was lawn mowing, I would use a typical subcompact. If my main work is moving dirt or pasture mowing, the TX25H is the right size. I have a small property and don't need a big tractor. I need the right sized tractor to fill my needs. I have a 52" tiller which has worked well with my CC/Yanmar. Would a 60" or a little larger be compatible with the TX25H?

Even the TYM dealers are reluctant to address Rural King tractors unless out of warranty. You started this venture follow it through with repair centers you will be successful. Stand out supporting the summit tractor to assure follow up business either new customer or upgrading to larger tractor that you plan to release in the near future. Good luck and good planning.

I don't think they have a mid-mount PTO. I could easily overlook that in favor of a rear mounted finish mower. It will be interesting to see how it plays out in instances of needing dealer support. I have looked at the tractor on display at the local Atwoods store and I personally think they stand out from their competitors. The size is just right for what I intend to do. The standard features makes it just right for my small farm. When I bought my CC/Yanmar new years ago. I never needed any service work. Parts were needed only twice I think. I would like to see what their plan is if service is needed but I am not sure that it would make any difference when it comes time to make the decision to buy.
