I have several batteries including a couple of 6 ah, so just the tool would suffice. I may have to put one on my "wish" list.

I have gotten some batteries from ebay sellers who rebuild them and they work fine, saves a lot of money.

I bought two aftermarket 6ah batteries at the start of Covid. I didn't even realize it was a Chinese company until they were paid for and I got my receipt from PayPal.
The funny thing is, that was the only confirmation which I got from the company. They said they would send a tracking number, but I never heard a word. About a month later the batteries showed up yet my account was never charged; and I never heard another word from the company.

I've had reasonable good luck with aftermarket batteries,, at least for the makita tools I'm using now.

My Duo-Fast CN-350 framing nailer which i bought in 1992 died this past summer. Used only on rentals, home owner projects, that's still a good run in my book.

The piston disintegrated. I got a rebuild kit but have not repaired it yet. I finished up a new door and window project by hand. Man, nailing OSB even with an Estwing is rough on 72 year old joints.

I'm finishing the inside of my Son's new shop. Air or battery tools all the way. Carry my Estwing just because the tool belt feels incomplete without it. Used rarely.

Magnetic paper towel holders. Handy. stick 'em on garage doors, hoists, tool boxes, pole barn tin, etc. Make sure you get the 2 piece that way you can set the "squeeze" for the tear off.

If I heard tap-tap-tap it was going to be a long day. The good experienced carpenters drove the 16d’s in 2 hits. One to set it the second to drive it flush. Most were using 22oz.
