Good morning to all! Low of 24°, only going up to 31° for the high.... currently under cloud cover, snow expected by around noon. Total of a few inches, no big dump. Supposed to get windy tonight and tomorrow.
I was almost done with welding the edge tamers together when the power went out..... waited for about a 1/2 hour, then called the co-op..... They said there was a crew headed out to fix the problem..... waited another 20 minutes, contemplating getting the generator started up.....
Just went and cleaned up / put away the tools first. As I wrapped up the last cord, hung it up, and grabbed the handle of the generator to pull it out ---- the power came back on...... I wasn't getting everything set back up. No deadline to be completed, so sometime this week they will get finished.
That's really neat that there is an automatic milage calculation on the log app. Nothing like that back in the day when I used to hike. I think I still have my waterproof log book / waterproof pencil.
RNG, they probably installed those lines early on in the assembly..... then added everything afterwards..... Didn't you know that the first rule of engineering is to never take apart what you designed?
Drew, have a good trip. Hopefully the weather holds out for you, and no delays are encountered.
Kilroy, the quiche looks delicious! Filling too! Starlink getting faster?
Ken, that's tough news for your son..... I can still remember those days.... makes me almost glad that I'm old and don't have to deal with the trials and tribulations of young love.....
Fritz, we always have to reinforce and guide our children.... doesn't matter how old they are. Sounds like she definitely has her act together!
I hope everyone's week gets off to a great start!
