Looked over daughters yearly performance evaluation draft. Counseling her to don't be bashful to take credit for what you have accomplished. She wants to get future assignment with increased management responsibilities so it is important to play up how she improved the groups performance with her management skills. Her tendency is to let this be seen between the lines but I am saying spell it out it you want it to be known

May look into whole house surge protector. Not sure our utility offer that.
I installed a Bussman surge protector a few years ago. Have not had a problem since installing it. Since installing it. It is no longer available. Checked my utility for one installed in meter. $9.99 a month. Some places still have some old stock. But want double what I paid in 2018. Bussmann RB-SPP-240PN Cooper Protector.

38, still some drizzle, but may get some sunshine later. And Wind.

Kilroy, I'd like to eat some of your quiche, but wouldn't want to read the Nutrition Label .

Pop, that was quite the breakfast your friend had. Cute photos of grandson. He is receiving a great exposure to tractors, planes and now fire trucks.

Roasted coffee yesterday...was too wet to do much outside, but went for a short hike in the rain.

BEF, the nice lady that shuttled me last week sent me the Shen500 spreadsheet...used by hikers to track their hiking of all of Shenandoah National Park's 500+ (513.9) miles of trails. I told her I had not been able to get to it, because I wasn't on facebook. I started entering my hikes into it from my logbook...quite an undertaking since they split many hikes into short sections...such as the AT's 107 miles is split into 54 hiking sections. Good thing is all you have to do is enter the hiked date and it keeps a running tally of hiked miles and miles to go. I think I'm gonna go for it.

Good morning all,
Presently it is 42F under cloudy skies after an overnight low of 41. Forecast high of 49 with clearing skies this afternoon.

No exploring ride yesterday, started to rain much earlier than forecast, received a total of 0.52", most of which came overnight.

Contractor due here this morning to check hole depth and correct if necessary before inspector arrives.

Finished clearing out shop and started to lay out wiring harness template. Lay out measurements don't agree with what is in the spec sheet, need to find out what is up with that.

Still no 'honey do' list, which is okay with me.

Hope everybody has a good day. Let's be safe out there.

Good Morning.
It’s 36, which is likely today’s high. Drizzling now, supposed to stop by afternoon.

I checked in late enough yesterday that there is nothing new to report.

Nothing pressing for today, need to look at a toilet that is leaking for DIL while son is out of town.
Might start disassembling old rear projection TV, but it’s really hard to destroy something that works.

35F and SNOWING. Pretty. The roofs across the street are white but the road is just wet. The snowblower is still up in the barn. My fingers are crossed.

I don't know when I will be able to collect downed wood and haul it to my neighbor. I moved a fair amount across the field earlier in the fall but now the wheat is up. I heard on the radio that the warm winter is messing up logging in Vermont.

Have a good day

Chris

Good Morning!!!! 46F @ 4:47AM. Plentiful sunshine. High 58F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph.
We're under a Wind Advisory, and it's been rockin' here all night.
Rain is still in the 10-day.

After all that talk of fire extinguishers and almost burning your house down, I wonder what gives, Randy?

Some very comprehensive testing of penetrating oil has been done by YouTuber Project Farm, KJC. I forget which was best, but ATF/Acetone and Kroil were better than most. But that quich sounds like a heart attack on a plate!

Got two of the high pressure oil lines installed yesterday afternoon. There's a reason Ford used those barb connectors: They're simple and quick to install! But they're a bear to remove, and the replacement fittings in the kit I got were a bear to install, too. Very cramped quarters, lots of doing things by feel, turning nuts 1/12 turn flipping over stubby open end wrenches each flip. I lost count of the times I had to climb up under the hood, but my legs and back told me I could stop anytime. Still one more line to go, but I can at least see both ends where this one gets installed.

New realtor is supposed to call this morning, that should be interesting.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a great start!
