Growing up on a ranch, I have shot hundreds of coyotes.  I use to build hay bail forts on a bluff overlooking a creek and used a dead rabbit call to bring them in.  Something changed in me though, I can't shoot them anymore. I let them go and have been for about 8 years now.  There are now a couple of packs roaming by the house and lake that will need attention.  If they start going for my dog, then I will take action.  The funny thing is, I have grown an appreciation for them.  They seem to keep a balance in nature.  When I was shooting them all the time, it seemed like their was a lot less other animals around.  Now with them around, there seems to be more wildlife.  Odd.
