790 John Deere/ Case 580 CK diesel.
Ever have one of these that just doesn't end? I mean by leaving your Case 580 CK buried 2 feet deep in old manure with 2 blown power steering hoses? I'm at work now knowing what I'll be doing when I get home...

Today is.... wednesday. Extra long weekend? lol.

I try to remedy my disasters by about 6 or 7 pm on sunday and then call it quits, haha. Sucks man, good luck getting her out. Question, why didn't you just drive it out of the manure even without power steering? (COmmon hydraulic fluid?)

It had no steering whatsoever. Oh, I did it at about 3 pm, honked on it till dark, probably just made it worse! My weekend is Monday/Tuesday.

I’d be looking for something big enough to make pulling it out Step 1, and fixing the hoses Step 2 versus working in 2ft of the stuff.
….that’s just way two much squeezing up through your toes.

Knee high boots Brother! My cousin supposedly has a dozer... We will see. The spousal unit dropped the hoses off to get rebuilt, they should be ready to be picked up on my way home.

Well, I finally got through this. The $183 hoses did not fit, PIA to get returned and refunded. Found another place, Stiener Diesel service that did the hoses right, for $55! Got them on in 2 feet of manure water and mud. My good hunting boots started leaking. My wonderful wife actually helped me getting the thing filled up and fired up! My cousin came over with his dozer and pulled me back to dry ground with ease! Life is good! Praise be to God!

It was not a pen, it is an old dairy farm and this was a pasture. I couldn't even imagine the smell if it was a pig farm!

…well, only he knows why he screwed up the new hydraulic hoses the first time and put a hole in your good hunting boots, but be glad he eventually straightened it all out! Praise be!

I would love to have a Case 580 CK buried in the pasture like in the picture, it would be worth retrieving.
I have gotten my little B7610 buried up to above the axles, front and rear, with the front wheel catching between thick roots.
Took a bunch of 2x6's, a Hi-Lift, and a come-along or two to get it out.

I am curious, does anyone have personal experience using Yankum type ropes (kinetic ropes) to get tractors out?

All the best, Peter
