BX2750 snowblower compatability

I have a 2016 BX 25D and I've been looking for a used BX2750, front mount, 50" snowblower. One showed up on Craigslist today, that was used on, and purchased with, a BX2200 tractor back in 2003. The owner says she's had some back problems, and can no longer do the yearly installation and removal, and is looking to sell the blower. In her ad, she shows both a manual for the blower, and a manual for the quick connect sub frame hardware. On both front covers of the manuals, it says the blower model is BX2750, and the subframe and hardware model is BX2751. It says they are both for the BX tractor series. Can anyone tell me if those units from a 2003 BX2200 would be compatable with a 2016 BX25D?

I cannot tell you for sure. I own a 2003 BX2200 but no snowblower on it. I would bet that the front mount blower will fit your BX25D if you have 100% of her mounting hardware, the subframe and all that. I'd be mainly concerned that your BX25D chassis (being set up for a backhoe) could have a lot of steel in the way of the snowblower subframe installation... at least that would be the likely conflict area I think. I'd do some extensive comparison if I were you. There have been several threads about the BX2750, front mount, 50" snowblower and you could probably do a "thread search" and get some help there.
Don't know what your situation is but if the lady has back problems ... ? Maybe she'd just part with the whole tractor and blower and save a lot of grief ?

I don't doubt for a minute that she has all the necessary hardware, and could put her hands on it instantly. You kinda get a feeling about people when you listen to them. She knew her tractor inside and out, and has been installing this thing for winters, for years, and removing it at season's end. She says she's just not physically able to do it ant longer, because of her back.
Something I didn't say in my original post, was that I called my local Kubota dealer and asked what he thought? He said that the part # BX2751 for the "Male quick hitch, and Sub frame, had changed, but that the part was still identical, and only the number had changed. And same with BX2752, which is the "Mid PTO KIT". The number was no longer BX2752, but the part was identical, and the old numbers were referenced in the descriptions on both the new part numbers. Then he threw in the, "But don't quote me on it". LOL I think I'm safe in going ahead and buying it, but I was just wondering if anyone else may have had a similar experience? As far as buying the whole package, she didn't offer, and I didn't ask. I'd need a divorce lawyer if I did that.

The subframe hangs off the front and doesn't extend rearwards very much if at all, so that probably wouldn't be an issue. My subframe, originally on my bX1860, wouldn't work with my new BX 2370 due to the longer wheelbase. However, my dealer ordered and installed the parts necessary to make it fit--basically a longer splined input shaft and drive shaft (I negotiated this mod when purchasing the 2370). I know this doesn't really answer your question, but my suggestion would be to enlist the help of your local dealer.

The mid pto kit is the issue.
I have the 2750 blower on my bx24, works well. I also have the 2763 plow which sees the most use for the small and wet sloppy snows we get here SE NH.

I have a BX2230 which is the next newer version of her BX2200. When I was looking for anreplacement snowblower, I found one off a BX2360 I think. Not sure on it, though. But the quick hitch has a longer shaft going towards the input drive shaft. (Like George mentions longer wheelbase.) You can get a shorter shaft from the dealer if you need it. Maybe looking at Tractordata.com and comparing the wheel base numbers. Jon

I just looked at tractordata.com and it is not the difference of the wheelbase, but the length of the tractors are different. Jon
