It looks to me that your stabilizer bars are not adjusted correctly , did you take one end off to adjust it ? If it was set up correctly from the dealer then you shouldn't have to take the end off to adjust it. Both ends of the stabilizer should have the same amount of threads showing, then just turn the centre section of the stabilizer to either lengthen it or the other way to shorten it. In picture 4 of the first post it looks like one end is all the way in and the other is out showing lots of threads. The stabilizer bar should work just like a turnbuckle.

These stabilizers are different. not made that way.

They only have threads on one end.

Look at Eddie's picture:

I understand that it doesnt make sense. I havent figured it out in a way that makes sense. I'm 100 persent positive that with the threads in, there is more travel in the arms to go closer together. I just cant explain why.

Ya I see that now , what about where the bracket that holds that end of the sway bar, is it attached to the axel by bolts and could in be moved inboard more to allow the sway bar to move the lower link arm further in. ? Something isn't right with the set up of this tractor, it should easily be capable of using cat 1 and cat 2 implements.

Eddie, if you measure the difference with it pinned I think you would see that the ends will be closer with all the threads showing. With it not pinned you would have more range of motion with the threads all the way in. At least that is what I am seeing in the pictures.

But is that with the pin in or out?

Pins are out. It will only slide out farther with the pin out. You cannot turn it with the pin in.

I understand now Eddie. I did not even notice you could not adjust it without pulling the pin. I don’t think I would like that setup. I would be looking for another option.

We all understand the relevance of that, BUT it does not solve the issue presented....
I think this would work:
I think I would drill a new hole in the part that attaches to the tractor 90 degrees from the other hole. Maybe split the difference from the end. That would give more flexibility.
