Stihl KM 131R kombi review

Any estimate of the cost to switch to 3/8? Drive Sprocket available now?

Can the KM 131R power head be used with the quick lock pole saw attachments that seem to interchange among Ryobi/Craftsman brands etc or can it only be used with Stihl brand pole saw attachments?

Last time I spoke with my dealer, going by memory here, he was short of one part to switch the chain size out. Seems it was a drive sprocket he was still missing. No idea of the cost.

I'd guess there is no interchangeability among other makes of attachments. If you can post a good pic of this setup, of just the male end, do so and I will comment

If the parts to convert the Stihl aren't available or are too expensive, I was wondering if there was a easy way to use another pole saw attachment on the Kombi power head that uses the normal 3/8 chain?

Most of the universal fit pole saw attachments are like this one. RYOBI Expand-It 10 in. Universal Pole Saw Attachment RYPRN33

The Echo PAS seems to have a different way of attachment that I guess is proprietary to Echo?ECHO PAS Power Pole Saw Attachment 99944200532

I had to be at our dealership today and asked about Kombi parts and they are still short a drive sprocket. He said it would cost about $75 for all the parts and that includes a chain.

Its three years old and I asked them for the parts to swtich the chain size out. Warranty?
