I prefer gear drive with a shuttle, but not a power shuttle.

To each his own.
While the power shuttle may have some small issues all in all I'm glad to have it.
I like the left hand reverser action with no clutching, and no dry clutch to wear out.
Will it be a pain if I need to replace my wet clutches, heck yea.
Is it a pain to split a tractor to replace a dry clutch, heck yea.
Do I want to do either, nope.

I grew up with nothing but geared tractors (no shuttles whatsoever). Then got a Massey 1540 Powershuttle in 2007. It was fantastic. Had to sell it due to the economy in '09 and replaced it with a 1643 Hydro in '13. Replaced it last fall with this 4707 Powershuttle and am happier now.

Powershuttle is the best compromise, best overall transmission in a tractor, IMO.

Hooked my Deere MX10 rotary cutter to my 4707 on Thursday. Kicked the pto on at like 1300rpm, killed the tractor. Rev’d it up some more, kicked it on, tractor made a bunch of racket under the cab, threw a code, and kicked the pto off. Called the dealer, they came and got the tractor (90 miles for them) within 24hrs.

They say the mower is just too big for the tractor. Deere recommends minimum 60 pto hp for the lift type mower that I have. 40 pto hp for a pull type. I have a hard time believing that the tractor can’t even spin that mower with no load. I didn’t figure it would be ideal, but thought it would work OK for mowing approaches, and Ran it on a 3020 gasser for years with no issues.

Dealer is doing a good job of taking care of me… but this one has me scratching my head a little.

I want to clarify that statement.

FOR RELIABILITY, I prefer gear drive with a manual shuttle, it isn't that I don't like a power shuttle.

Example, my buddy is a mechanic, he works for a CIH dealer that also sells Kioti. I asked him what tractor he's been working on? He said a Kioti with 400 hrs on it, and he's pulling the hystat! He said, Kioti has put a stop on new orders, of that model, because of hystat problems.

Lucky for me, I don't have one, but "with the luck I have", if I had a Kioti, it would be MY tractor over there being worked on!

Alright so it arrived. Looks good except for the 3rd remote I had them add, did they try to give me some old used pos? I don't understand how the 3rd remote could be so rusted lol.

I took it out in the pasture to just mess around and within 15 minutes I had found a hole that the former owner had buried some **** in and got myself nice and stuck. It wouldn't be an adventure without a little drama right away eh?

15 minutes and you've already got it stuck??? I'm glad I'm not the only one with that kind of luck. I have two rules chiseled in stone on my property, we don't bury anything and we don't let grass or trees grow up on fence lines. That's the most aggravating thing in the world, stuck from someone else being lazy or cheap.

Might be a new record for getting a brand new tractor stuck in the mud!!!!!

alright I just needed practice with the loader, i was able to push myself out.

Anyone know whats going on with this 3rd remote? It looks like they took it off another tractor used rather than install a new one. The handle inside also looks like its from a different model

The handles look fine one bent out on each side and the center one straight.
Many times factory parts are coming in unpainted it does seem quite ridiculous especially for the price they fetch.
