Make yourself some bucket forks for stem lift,. You won't be sorry. They come in handy in a multitude of waysI have to use the tractor to pick up the heavy trees I dropped, even if I chop them up, its a bit much... Now using the JD 790 with Turf tires works fine, but no grapple, so would again have to pick up...yes I am getting old...
Mine go all the way to the back of the bucket and cut from a 32" long piece of steel (4"wide x3/4" thick). Held on by two 1/2" bolts per side. $50 to make. Had welding shop cut out shape and then I ran a welding bead for grip and strength along the top..
