1.4” of rain. Looks like it’s about done here. Temps keep dropping, 36° now. Will get icy tonight, think I’ll bug out a little early.
I haven't even started the tractor, chipped the frozen mix off the garage doors so I could open them looked around and walked back inside.Got in from my second round of snow work. Didn't measure any depths, but there was enough new accumulation to give the snow blowers a workout...probably need to get another 5 gallons of diesel tomorrow.
Still snowing, by the way...I'm not expecting any appreciable accumulation though.
Reckon I'm done for the day...
Looks like we got mostly powder...fairly easy to shovel or blow...downside, of course, is the reduced visibility when blowing snow...and, yes, it's still snowing...finally appears to be tapering off20F still snow couple more inches we'll hit 15" mark...storm ending 8-9 pm.,hard to shovel.
Darn glad I decided to do rough plowing with the pickup but the only problem once the plow snow settle like cement![]()
Kubota push tall snow banks like hot knife thru butter and now that whole lot of extra room ready for Buppies prediction.
Going to quite evening hot meal have hankering for beans hotdogs with brown bread than feet up.
