Snowblower is rigged to the tractor...oiled the chain, touched up some surface rust spots and ran it through it's paces to make sure the auger and fan turned, as well as the chute. I started touching the fan housing, but not enough paint left inn the can.
No mowing today, but the week looks good for mowing after work. As far as the snowblower, I'll grease it when I grease the tractor (this week sometime)

Stepdaughter took wifey in to the dining room. Margeaux was happy to see Mom!!
Downside, wifey took a dive when leaving to dining room. We got her back into her bedroom...that was a project and everybody was getting a bit hostile. Real bummer...but, all turned out OK. I doubt if wifey tries to get in to dining room again for a while. Personally, I think that's a mistake... People have to push themselves to a degree, IMHO. In this case, I was in the minority... Lesson learned, don't break any bones when you're 70+

There are some electronic rust proofing devices available. When I was Fleet Manager in the QAS we had a station that used bore water to wash their vehicles and this promoted rust attack. We fitted electronic devices and it stopped the rust in its' tracks. The local Fire department and the Army base in the same area also used them and found them to be very effective. They must be fitted correctly as instructed. Worth considering if you can get them there. Personally I do not need one as we do not have any problems with rust here as I do not drive on a beach and we do not have salt on the roads. The dry climate is not conducive to rust.
Check these ones out. They also prevent your paintwork from oxidising keeping it new looking longer.

Good morning! 74˚F heading to the 90s South wind cloudy. Front is pushing through at midnight giving us a chance of rain and a slight drop of temps.

Kyle, how does the violin sound, were you able to tune it or does it sound like the cat? Will your daughter be getting lessons? I'll be heading over to the parking lot you parked in for cards this afternoon. I think Whipper would like a snake-in-a-box. We have a variety of 16 kinds of snakes in the neighborhood but I have only seen two. Maybe after the Spring Garage Sale you can stop by the house.

There were about a thousand people at the garage sale and maybe a dozen mask. Our county covid cases continues to drop (about a hundred daily) and I suspect that by the end of the week we will be out of the RED zone.

I need to find an organic product to lower the PH in the garden to make it more acid. I'm leaning toward Sulphur. But first I need to do another soil test. The last test in the Summer the PH was 8 mostly because the irrigation well water filters down through limestone rock here in the Hill Country.

2 things I forgot about....I actually scored a nice Prince tennis racquet $7. and a new "Made in USA 100% Cotton" 5'x9' American Flag for $10.

Don, yesterday I knew absolutely nothing about violins...today, I know almost next to nothing about them. The tuner Pegs go into tapered holes and are to be pushed in relatively tight to hold tension on the strings. This violin has what I would call, worn out pegs. The peg's tapers are actually shiny smooth, where they are supposed to bite. Been looking at videos. Worst cast option, are 4 new special gear tuner pegs, that cost $65. (more than the whole thing but....)
It does sound like a cat, until a virtuoso gets ahold of it.

We have a lady at church who loves my daughter, and she might consider lessons. I have to say my daughter is proficient at watching learning videos and she has talent.

My son did accolyting at early service, my daughter played bass at 11am service, and I did the slides. Also, my wife and I are leading youth worship this Wednesday.

67F and "Fair" @ 20:30, heading down to a low of 59F for the overnight. High hit 78.4F today.

Got electrical connection for diverter repaired ... once I managed to get the old terminals out of the Weather Pack connecter ... which was a bit of a PITA.

Also cleaned the pre filter for the Cub, blew the air filter element out, and put it all back together once the pre filter was dry.

Stirred up the compost I set out to dry with the loader, may start screening it tomorrow.

Dug up and transplanted another 13 Stella D'Oro's, making it 28 so far. Still a few more to go ... plus the big clump that didn't get divided last year.

Also harvested 4 seeds from a seed pod on one of them:

Will be interesting to see if any volunteers show up next year in the bed where they were planted.

Heading down shortly to feed the fish and then maybe a movie.

Good evening all. 67F for the start, overcast, windy. Windy day, sky cleared off then clouded back up at sunset, line rain came through, tornado watch but no warnings. High temp was 88F, DP 65F, low temp at midnight, forecast 64F. Chapel to start morning, made wife's breakfast (pancakes), then into conserve energy mode. Did help wife with removing 4o'clocks that were blocking view of road while backing out. Watched some of Dallas beat up on Giants. Went to VFD fund raiser for dinner.
Covid update: Cooke 4062 confirmed cases, 23 active cases, Montague 2529 confirmed cases, 35 active cases, Grayson, 15,814 confirmed cases, 227 active cases. Cooke 0, Montague 0, Grayson 0, new cases. Grayson number still don't add up
Dennis was it same brand? Also some engines need heat range changes.
